Cricket player auction

Your league's biggest night

The auction runs on your laptop, not in the cloud. Open it once and this device keeps its own copy — if the venue wifi dies, bids, purses and the projector carry on, and the page still opens if you reload it. Every action is recorded and chained, so nothing is disputable afterwards.

When it's real

Import players from a spreadsheet or pasted WhatsApp text, set the purses, and go live.

How an auction night goes

  1. 1Before

    Put your players in

Paste a WhatsApp list or drop in an Excel file — any column order, any spelling. You fix anything odd in a preview before it counts. Then set the purse, the base prices and the squad sizes.

  2. 2On the night

    Run it on the projector

One big button raises the bid. Every team's real spending ceiling is on screen and updates after each bid, so the room can see who can still afford him. Your phone or a clicker works as the hammer.

  3. 3Afterwards

    Send the squads out

Every team gets a picture card to forward on WhatsApp, every player gets their own. The full bid log downloads as a spreadsheet for anyone who asks questions later.

What goes wrong, and what happens instead

Every one of these is a real complaint about auction software, from people whose tournament it ruined.
